This isn’t much of a recipe, in the sense that there really isn’t a lot to it, but it sure is refreshing on a warm day. A friend recently brought us a big bag of Meyer lemons and so we’re finding things to do with them. Lemonade sounded just perfect on a day like today. This recipe will make a pitcher of lemonade:
- 2 cups fresh-squeezed Meyer lemon juice
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
Mix ingredients together and chill.
Once it’s nice and cold, pour two ounces of gin or vodka into an ice-filled glass, fill with lemonade, and garnish with a lemon slice and sprig of mint. Delicious.
Last year Sarai posted a similar recipe on her blog: Lavender-honey lemonade.
